  • Mobility Access

The POMO Museum is wheelchair and scooter accessible. A wide ramp allows access to the museum building. Mobility is restricted by the gravel parking lot in front of the building. The Venosta train car is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

  • Parking

All museum patrons receive free parking; a parking pass can be provided upon request at the front desk.

  • Transit

POMO Museum is about a 10 minute walk from Moody Centre station. We also have multiple bus routes that stop nearby such as the 181 and 182.

  • Bathrooms

There are two washrooms available in the museum and one on the Venosta train car. Unfortunately none of our washrooms are wheelchair accessible. The nearest accessible washrooms are at Rocky Point Park nearby.

We acknowledge our location on the unceded territories of the
Coast Salish speaking peoples, with whom we are actively
working to develop strong relationships.
